Chakra & Aura Healing

I began by spending time preparing myself doing the Aura Meditation exercise – centring and grounding, and validating my own aura and I prepared the treatment space, burning incense to cleanse the space of negative energy and had soft music playing in the background and candles burning. I also envisaged myself in a ‘golden egg’ of gold and white light in order to protect myself from any negative energies released during the treatment.

The client is a yoga instructor and very physically fit, but had deeper emotional issues she wanted to deal with through this healing. She was also suffering with a stiff shoulder and digestion. I decided to focus on the solar plexus and throat chakras, but keep an open mind and see if any additional areas seemed ‘out of sorts’.

Once the client had chosen the Chakra stones (these had been cleansed and charged beforehand) I placed the stones on each Chakra as follows:-

Root chakra – onyx

Sacral chakra – red jasper

Solar Plexus chakra – citrine

Heart chakra – green aventurine

Throat chakra – turquoise

Third Eye chakra – amethyst

Crown chakra – clear quartz

Before placing the stones, I held my palm above the chakra to detect any imperfections. I felt a coldness and lack of connection in the throat area and also at the crown chakra. As the stones were placed I envisaged the colour penetrating the clients chakra and radiating out, filling the room and spend extra time on the 2 areas where I detected some imbalance.

Once all the stones had been placed I envisaged the whole spectrum radiating into the chakras and out into the room. This lasted about 20 mins. I then gently removed the stones.

To cleanse the aura, I allowed my vision to blur and see the aura around Charlotte (I also saw her aura as blue). Then I placed my hands above each chakra in turn and included the shoulder area, hips and legs as I had detected darkness in the right hip area. Using the slow upward movement with my palm, I spent about a minute drawing out any impurities from the aura in each of these areas. I spent a bit longer in the shoulder and hip areas where I had detected problems.

Once I had finished I smoothed down the aura to restore balance. The entire treatment took approximately 1 hour.

The clients response was very interesting. With the laying on of stones she felt a surge of energy up through her body and tingling in the palms. Once the aura cleansing began, she had initially felt very strong energy in the solar plexus, but found it hard to connect to the head area. She had then felt an enormous sense of peace throughout her body and still felt this, in fact she wanted to immediately go home and sleep! It had made her feel extremely comforted and as though she could just ‘let go’. She also told me she had previously experienced problems with her hips but no longer, so what I detected in this area of the aura could have been residues of this old injury or could have been linked to her digestive problems.

I really enjoyed giving the treatment, I actually felt really energised and it was really encouraging detecting problematic areas in the chakras and also seeing and working with the crystals and then the aura. I feel much more confident about trying this on others and incorporating the techniques and treatment into my angelic reiki and angel healing practice.
