History Of Angels
Learn to contact your angels and guides today. In the bible, angels are known as a medium of God’s power; they exist to execute God’s will. Angels reveal themselves to individuals as well as to the whole nation, to announce events, either good or bad, affecting humans. Angels foretold to Abraham the birth of Isaac, to Manohah the birth of Samson and to Abraham the destruction of Sodom. Guardian angels were mentioned, but not, as was later the case, as guardian spirits of individuals and nations. God sent an angel to protect the Hebrew people after their exodus from Egypt, to lead them to the Promised Land, and to destroy the hostile tribes in their way.
Biblical books present angels as heavenly beings created by God, who are not endowed with free will. The archangels named in post-exile Judaism are Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, Uriel, Raguel, Sariel, and Jerahmeel.
The word angel is derived from the Greek word Angelos meaning ‘messenger’. They are messengers from God. Their purpose is to serve us and encourage us to grow and expand our consciousness.
Angels have never been part of the human consciousness and therefore have never been incarnated in human form. Angels never become human although they can assume human form temporarily, just as humans never evolve into angels. You may have heard of ‘guides’ who have been incarnate and is different from an angel. (A guide can and may be a deceased loved one, such as a grandparent) you may have many guides on your spiritual journey however angels work on a higher vibratory energy frequency than spirit guides.
Guardian Angel
We all have our own guardian angel. Every person living has their own angel, no matter what their circumstances. For instance even murderers and evil people will still have their guardian angel. However, because this type of person may work in the negative they may never choose to make contact with their angel. Your angel loves you unconditionally and knows you better than yourself. This angel will be present with you from the moment your soul decided to inhabit earth, and will stay with you throughout this lifetime. It is said that in your next incarnation, your next angel will be a different one to accompany you. It is always our free choice whether we listen to our angel or not.
Connecting With Your Angel
The best way to learn to connect with your angel directly is through meditation. There are many different techniques and you will need to find one that suits you. Some people find yoga very helpful to aid connection, or you can just sit in a quite space and ask your angels to be with you. Angels cannot come to our aid without us asking. This is one of the rules the angels have. You can also ask others angels to help, for instance if you wanted to help heal someone, you can ask for their guardian angel to be present and help you heal the person.
As long as you are asking for the good of the person then their angel will be happy to assist.
Angel therapy is based on the notion that communicating with angels is the key to healing. Angel therapists believe they help to heal their patients by getting in touch with the angel who will guide the patient in the right direction for them. It is not necessary to be clairvoyant or a medium to experience the joy and pleasure of angels. You do not need to actually see the angels to experience them. The majority of people know that we are never completely alone and can feel their presence enfolding us and guiding us, they help bring us comfort, healing and wisdom. Angel therapy will show you how to bring the love and joy that angels surround us with. You will learn how to invoke and commune with your angels. You will learn how to use essential oils and crystals for healing and drawing angelic visitations.
Our fascination with angels is growing more day-by-day. There are now so many books, magazines tapes and workshops on angels. Large numbers of people now claim to have had an experience to do with angels, either via visitation, miracle and quite often showing themselves to be in human form. Angels have always been around however our new awareness is harnessing their power and we will continue to hear more about the help and healing that angels bring.
Angels assume a particular form for the benefit of us, and should someone just not be able to believe their own eyes should they see and angel in all their glory with wings and a glowing aura then quite often they can appear in human form, they will talk and act just like any other person, and quite often turn up out of the blue so to speak.
They will disappear just as quickly as they arrived, once their work is done. It has been reported many times of angels coming to the aid of someone in an accident, only for them to be nowhere to be seen once the person is now in safety and quite often looking for them to thank.
You will learn how angels can assist us in so many ways, and how they can help to heal us on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. They can bring guidance and help us solve problems, provide protection and generally make our lives a lot easier. All we need to do is ask.
Archangels
It is necessary to know the power of the Archangels and how they can enhance your life and remove blockages which may hinder you on your path or purpose. The Archangels want you to call on them for help. You can never overburden them and they help people simultaneously. They also have “armies” of angels working under them to assist you in all ways. Whenever you need powerful and immediate assistance you can call on them. They will be at your side and no job is too large or too small for the Archangels.
They can bring blessings of the universe. When asked, the Archangels will surround you and can help open the doors of opportunity and illuminate the path to reaching your goals. There will however also be work for you to do. The Archangels are known as the directors of the angelic realm and you will discover that each one has their own speciality, which we will go into more detail later. Before trying the meditations with the angels, it is helpful if you are familiar with the chakras and to make sure they are well balanced and cleared.
Archangels are the eighth ranking order of angels and possibly the most well known, Gabriel, Michael and Raphael in particular.
