There has been much written about the lovers in tarot so for this article I am going to write in more detail how this card relates depending on the subject. After all if this card comes up when your client has asked about a job, its is unlikely that you are going to tell them about their love life.
Choices
This card is basically about duality and decisions and of course an also indicate a love affair. It points to some sudden and unexpected changes, so with regard to a job it could indicate sudden or unexpected happenings in the work place. In regard to a relationship this can indicate changes in your love life, usually for the better or certainly more interesting.
Subjects
The card means something slightly different depending on what the question is relating to however its core meaning is still decisions and changes. The following is a guideline in what the card may mean if your client asks about the following:
In a General Reading: A new relationship may just be around the corner but if you are currently in a relationship then expect big changes. You maybe torn at this time between your heart and your head.
Work/Career: You may face a decision at work however once made there is likely to be an improvement in your circumstances. You could also find yourself attracted to someone at work in which case go with what feels right.
Romance: You could be going through a very tense or up and down period in your love life. You or your lover may find themselves attracted to another but are unsure what to say or do. I will make a note that from experience if the high priestess appears near this card then if quite often points to an extramarital affair or if not an affair certainly secrets are being kept.
Finances/Money: A good time to go into business with a partner and cooperation will bring in money and success.
